The scope of service includes providing care to adult and geriatric General Neurology, Stroke, Epilepsy, and General Medicine patients that require cardiac monitoring such as status post cardiac interventions, rule out Myocardial Infarction (MI), Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Arrythmias, Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), Stroke, and Diabetes patients requiring intravenous insulin drips. This unit is a Comprehensive Stroke Certified by the Joint Commission.
