INITIALLY, THIS ROLE WILL BE REMOTE (NOT COVID RELATED), BUT EVENTUALLY, SOME TRAVEL TO OFFICE MAY BE REQUESTED IN 2021, IF AND WHEN COMPANIES RETURN TO NORMAL DURING COVID.We are a growing stealth startup building a disruptive sensor fusion system for autonomous driving and defense applications by solving mathematically intractable problems. Our founder is a seasoned entrepreneur who has built and delivered multiple billion dollar IPOs.We have proprietary technology that is 5-10 years ahead of the rest of the industry, and we are looking for a visionary Digital Logic Design Engineer to lead the following efforts for our company:
- Participate in all aspects of the FPGA development process, from planning to design reviews, implementation, code reviews and testing with cross-functional teams
- Develop Verilog HDL code for implementation of signal processing algorithms in hardware, including on Xilinx FPGA devices
- Prototype, integrate, evaluate, and demonstrate end to end workflows on hardware platforms
- BS or MS degree in electrical engineering or computer science with emphasis on digital logic design
- Deep understanding and experience in design and development of digital logic implementation of signal and data processing algorithms, including implementation on FPGA platforms
- Experience in high-speed design of pipelined and highly parallelized fixed point arithmetic logic in Verilog HDL from C and/or MATLAB code.
- Experience and proficiency in RTL simulations and implementation and timing closure using Xilinx Vivado development tools
- Understanding of DSP, digital filtering, transform techniques, and other signal processing algorithms
- Understanding of fixed-point arithmetic and quantization effects in signal processing
- Familiarity and experience with C/C and MATLAB
