Position Title: S/4HANA Appliance and Finance Documentation Intern

Location: Palo Alto, California

Expected start date : June or July 2019 for 6 months

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKSYou will be part of the SAP S/4HANA Finance team dealing with developing implementation content for the SAP S/4HANA cloud and on-premise solutions. You will develop content for the S/4HANA Appliance and SAP Best Practices configuration according to our internally defined guidelines.On the operational level, you will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of assets per our Bill of Material in time, quality, and assigned budget. As such, your tasks are:

Write and copy edit all types of documentation (including creation of video tutorials and blogs) within a project using the appropriate templates, standards and guidelines, and specific terminology

Create content for cloud and on-premise delivery channels in the Ixiasoft DITA content management system

Ensure consistency (content, terminology, and style) across all documentation assets based on the team standards

Support business process and documentation testing for current releases of content development.

PREFERRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

Experience with business software processes. Ability to complete business software test scripts, document test script errors and submit error tickets for issue resolution

Strong writing skills for public forums such as SAP Community or openSAP.

Experience with copy editing and technical writing tools as well as MS Office Suite and web publishing

Strong technical and analytical skills

Detail-oriented

Being able to work and deliver under specific timelines

Create videos and simulations based on script for training and demo purposes

Team player with good communication skills

Able to engage with stakeholders

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Masters or Bachelors in progress or recent completion

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters, MBA or PhD degree program which is applicable to the position.
