If you are ready to accelerate, innovate and lead, join us as we challenge constraints and problem solve for tomorrow today.Job Role and Responsibilities:Within the Connected Operations team the M&A team plays critical role in successfully integrating new VMware acquisitions into all GTM functions: Sales, Marketing, Partner, Comp, Order Management, Compensation, RACE, and GSS. In this position, you will have responsibility to ensure timely due diligence of new offerings and timely integration of these new offerings into VMWare. You will focus on driving efficiency and accountability into decision making with active coordination with BU’s and critical stakeholders and SMEs. This is a leadership position where you will be able to influence and drive strategic direction and investments for VMware over multiple years. Your success will be contingent upon your ability to forge strong relationships and build trust with executives and individual contributors across multiple organizations.

Responsible and accountable for the annual, quarterly and weekly agenda coordination for all WWCO / GTM M&A activities

Drives decision making and related support need for transaction Due Diligence and IMO strategies, plans and milestones

Owns the development, maintenance and application of the M&A playbook (interlock with BU), prioritization of activities and connection with Corp. Dev., IMO, BU and all adjacent stakeholders

Tracks and reports progress of all team activities across approved schedule and stakeholder requirements

Identifies and defines all specific budget needs and excess resource requirements

Reviews and approves any investment related decisions

Evaluates the return on the investments approved

Identifies and assigns additional resources or cross-functional support

Drives and supports all critical functional leaders and adjacent stakeholders (BU’s and other leaders) to make decisions

Identify and engage / leverage specific SME’s and resources where needed
