Job Responsibilities:- Work as a hands on technical leader- Lead a team of two Data Scientists.- Work with a large data set which includes over 1 billion events per day and terabytes of data.- Lead the conception, development, and evaluation of new Natural Language Processing and Machine learning products.- Provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the data science and engineering teams- Communicate with company leadership, crossfunctional teams, and other stakeholders. Qualifications:- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.- Solid experience in Machine Learning and NLP / Natural Language Processing, including text summarization, information retrieval, and WordNet ontology.- A PhD in Computer Science (best), Math, Statistics, Physics or similar.- Skilled in Python programming. Knowledge of pandas, numpy, sklearn, etc.- Proficiency in SQL, database querying, and big data ETL. Nice to have:- Publications, conferences, or Kaggle competition experience.
