Able to partner comfortably with the cross functional leadership.· Represent CI-CPQ’s Price Track in efforts to significantly redesign business process and policy; responsible for coordination of finance work streams, requirement gathering with Finance Stakeholders, and coordination with IT technical development teams.· Work cross-functionally to ensure the pricing and discount methodologies, in alignment with sales methodologies work as intended in CPQo MS Excel, PowerPointo Experience in any CPQ platform (SFDC preferred)o Smartsheets Job Role and Responsibilities: · The principal subject for the Strategy and Value Management (SVM) team is managing discounts in negotiated deals through the CPQ deal management system.· The Sr. Business Analyst will spearhead the DVM team’s implementation of Discount Guidance through the CPQ launch by engaging with the development team, the CPQ stakeholders and our Finance partners. In addition, the Sr. Business Analyst will assist the coordination of producing Discount Guidance and Deal Score with the Finance stakeholders through the change management and enablement teams.· Communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand format.· Able to partner comfortably with the cross functional leadership.· Represent CI-CPQ’s Price Track in efforts to significantly redesign business process and policy; responsible for coordination of finance workstreams, requirement gathering with Finance Stakeholders, and coordination with IT technical development teams.· Work cross-functionally to ensure the pricing and discount methodologies, in alignment with sales methodologies work as intended in CPQ· Design and document transformation efforts across Finance, Pricing, Operations, Sales, and Product Management to streamline the complete end to end CPQ process, and particularly pricing and discounting metrics and guidelines.· Perform gap analysis: as-is vs to-be.· Perform testing on procedures and workflow, and compare to User Stories· Document business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases.· Execute sophisticated analyses to identify and investigate trends that drive operational performance of business transformations using statistics, and decision analysis linking operational, commercial, and technological elements to CPQ performance. Experience Summary · The ideal candidate should have excellent communications and project management skills to coordinate efforts between several individual teams. While this role is heavily project management there is a need for understanding of financial concepts, as well as pricing and CPQ.Requirements for the candidate are:· 10+ years' experience with minimum 7 years' experience in sales operations and deal management· 3+ years' experience in project management· 3+ years' experience with CPQ/Salesforce· 3+ years of pricing or deal negotiation experience· Excellent communications and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders in areas of pricing and financial controls· Expertise and proficiency in building financial and decision support models, with understanding of workflow and capacity planning· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting· Disciplined attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work product· Seasoned experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle Financials, and planning application, with ability to analyze large volumes of data.
