Job Title: Studio Operations / Production Manager Location: Palo Alto, CA Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description The Studio Operations/Production Manager (EPM) coordinates all the onsite creative and technical team activities required in order to successfully execute the client's specific messaging/events in a creative, engaging, technologically sound and budget-friendly manner, and supervises the personnel and equipment needed to deliver the desired look and feel effectively. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The Ops-Production Manager will provide technical management and operational support for the studio and clients of the studio. Act as the Production liaison between client and partners, consult on events and best use cases for the studio space, in order to successfully execute scheduled broadcast events. This role will be responsible to work with EIC to create Standard Operation Procedures for run the business state, as well as live production state for the studio. This person is the technical advisor for delivery of technological solutions that will creatively and effectively execute messaging for internal studio teams, corporate communications, and external audiences. Consulting, Scheduling, Coordination, Sourcing and Supervision of external vendors and third party teams used for successful event planning, media services, and technical production. Main point of contact for resource coordination cost estimates and vetting proposals for resourcing productions necessary for successful execution of client broadcast events. Introduce new and future-friendly, cost conscious solutions and tools for studio team daily operations. Responsible for overseeing event staff, equipment and security end to end. Complete understanding of all aspects of video live production. Physical Working Environment: This job operates in a professional studio, hotel, tradeshow floor, event environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines as well as road cases of gear, staging, video screens, studio gear, cameras, and video production technologies. Travel for this role is required. The ability to move, lift 50-75lbs of gear is required. Ability to stand on your feet and work long hours based on project demands is required. Job Qualifications: Four-year degree in related, Communications, Media, Live Events, Broadcast Production or Relative Experience a must. Minimum 4 years' experience in post-production, Studio Broadcast Production, Live Shoot/Field Production. Relationship with multiple Freelance resources and experience in managing skilled technical staff.
