Note: This role is onsite with my client in Paramount, CA (no remote/hybrid). Must be local and able to commute.

Responsibilities include:• Responsible for all elements of the monthly and quarterly close process as well as financial reporting at a division level. This includes managing the overall close process and calendar, coordination, preparation, and review to ensure completion of all account reconciliations in compliance with GAAP.• Work closely with Corporate Controller to ensure the completeness of consolidation reports.• Update and maintain quality process documentation and SOX documentation as needed• Leverage Internal Audit to develop SOX control processes and workflows as well as accurate policy and procedures• Assist in quantifying impacts of changes in corporate accounting policies, regulatory changes and develop specific policies• Support and actively participate in the continued development and enhancement of the accounting and finance sub-systems to meet the needs of the organization• Manage revenue recognition in accordance with ASC606• Manage lease accounting in accordance with ASC842• Work with internal and external auditors• Develop an accounting team with clear roles and responsibilities while encouraging cross function training and knowledge• Responsible for the recruiting, training, development, and coaching of staff• Encourage the team to contribute to ideas and resolutions in a safe environment.

Experience Needed• Manufacturing Environment industry experience.• Sage X3 a plus• Well-developed organization skills• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills with great attention to detail• Public Company experience• 5+ years as an Assistant Controller or comparable responsibilities• CPA is preferred
