- Ensures that appropriate preventative maintenance and repairs to critical equipment, occurs in a timely manner.
- Responsible for continuous improvement, optimisation, long term planning and regulatory compliance of the site Facility Operations activities.
- Performs and develops assessments, SOPs, and other GMP documentation.
- Assist the troubleshooting of R&D non-GMP and GMP processes, equipment, utilities, and other facility aspects.
- Supports the Maintenance and Metrology team when assigned in plant shutdowns, start-ups, and maintenance interventions.
- Provide operational support for GMP Manufacturing areas and laboratories, maintaining routine laboratory supplies, performing routine GMP Cleaning, and monitoring utilities.
- Up to 10% including domestic and international travel.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required. Certifications in Maintenance, metrology, SAP, Faculty utilities are a plus.
- At least two years industry experience in GMP engineering required. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or food industry is highly preferred.
- HVAC, EMS, compressed air and gas systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) systems (SAP) experience preferred.
