Job Title: Field Service Engineer Location: Pasadena, CA (Onsite) Duration: Longterm Contract Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of standard desktop software including Microsoft Office & Unified Communications products
- Experience in working on Active Directory (password reset, account lockout, group creation etc.)
- Prior experience in VPN client troubleshooting
- MECM (SCCM) Imaging experience
- In-depth knowledge of Desktop Operating systems
- Knowledge of Dell hardware components
- Basic network troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Audio & Video equipment in combination with communication tools in a conference environment.
- Troubleshooting skills for WebEx and MS Teams
- Configuring iPad/iPhones/Android for the users to enable them to check emails
- Good knowledge of working on ticketing tools like Service Now
- Prior experience in handling Desktop/Laptop related problems for a minimum of 5 years
- Education & Certifications
- A college degree with a minimum of five years' work experience in the field of IT support
- Detailed knowledge of ITIL framework, ITIL certification is preferred
- A technical certification would be an added advantage
- Perform all on-site activities related to installation, repair, management, and maintenance of End User devices (desktops, laptops, and peripherals)
- Responding to customer callouts and provide hands on support
- Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications issues
- Troubleshoot internet/LAN WAN connectivity issues
- Be responsible for supporting multiple applications and delivering quality support to End Users
- When the restoration is beyond the scope of the support, escalate the issue/problem to appropriate resolver group using IT Ticketing System
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printer related issues
- Record, track and maintain regional IT asset inventory in the asset management system
- Ability to take quick decisions, like when to escalate a ticket to next level and when to continue troubleshooting if issue not resolved within desired TAT
- Work independently, be adaptable to change and open to flexible working hours
- Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems and document it in the ITSM Tool
