- Seeking a passionate and hands-on Principal Java Developer to join our project with the mission to create a globally distributed, highly available product.
- Act as the Engineering & Architectural Lead and drive the detailed Software Architecture & Design for shared components
- Ability to drive other architects to the same strategic architectural vision;
- Work alongside with chief architect helping defining the architecture governance framework for the product;
- Work with enterprise architecture group to evolve APIs, events, taxonomy to account for global presence of Workforce management product
- Be Accountable for Design, Development, Performance, and ongoing Stability of the Application, Data, Integration, and Technology Architecture
- Help shape, execute, and integrate architectural principles in the technical & product roadmap to develop Next Generation Features and Applications
- Responsible for creating the most optimal software design that can scale and perform in a SaaS/Cloud environment.
- Uses best in class software design, development & deployment techniques to build high-level architecture software designs that development teams can code to provide assessment of current state architecture and recommendation of future state architecture
- Lead problem solving and resolution of day-to-day design issues
- Collaboratively work as part of a geographically distributed agile scrum team, mentor junior team members, and actively participate in knowledge sharing.
- Requirements:
- Overall 10+ Years of experience with minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in designing large scale solution architectures
- 2+ years' hands on experience in AWS specific solutions like AWS Aurora AWS api gateway, AWS code pipeline, AWS code deploy.
- Strong experience developing server side application using Java 8+ and Node.js
- Solid experience using mongoDB and DynamoDB as documentStore databases
- Hands on experience using AWS appsync
- Deep understanding of reactive microservices architecture
- Proficiency on designing system using DDD models.
- Hands on experience designing system interaction using Apache Kafka and AWS SNS/SQS
- Experience leading products deliverables using lean product and continuous delivery strategies
