Under general supervision, candidate will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment such as motors, pneumatic equipment, conveyor systems, production machines, and general facilities maintenance.Job Duties:

Follow quality standards in accordance with company policy

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance practices and record all data

Observe mechanical equipment in operation and follow good troubleshooting practices to locate causes of trouble

Adjust functional parts of equipment and control instrumentation

Install or replace worn or faulty components for equipment performance restoration or improvement

Test equipment performance and record all data

Perform daily responsibilities with urgency and a high level of accountability

Demonstrate creativity and diligence in meeting daily and long term projects and performance objectives

Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines

Assist in training new technicians

May perform other reasonable, related business duties

Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Trade certificates/diplomas or degrees preferred

Minimum 2 years’ experience and/or training, which includes experience or training in two or more of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, machine shop, or electronics/controls

Ability to alternate between standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to read and interpret a variety documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals furnished in written, oral, diagram

Ability to work well with minimal supervision

Ability to use hand and machine shop tools

Ability to train others by technical means and by example

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Able to recognize and troubleshoot machine problems

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour, W-2, other employment options available with comprehensive benefits, inquire with recruiter for more details
