Job Details

OverviewThe Systems Engineer will design, implement, administer, troubleshoot and develop server, email and network resources to meet company and departmental goals and standards for availability, capacity and security. The primary role for this position will be to work closely with the IT security team to discover, analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities across all infrastructure systems and to work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful remediation of other systems. This role will also support the effort of maximizing uptime of enterprise server systems and their interfaces to the user community. It also provides for ongoing maintenance and provide tier-three support to help resolve client issues.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and support Microsoft Windows servers in a 2012 Active Directory domain.Test, evaluate and implement server software, patches, updates and upgradesAnalyze monthly security scans and remediate vulnerabilities as neededMonitor servers and related services and technologiesReview, modify, and remove user accounts and permissionsReview activity logs for anomalous activity as neededManage and maintain Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware solutions for the EnterpriseMaintain Enterprise Server environment including:VMWare ESX 6.5+CitrixSFTP and other enterprise applicationsMonitor the Enterprise email systems and communication platformsMaintain accurate and current documentation of all procedures performed and create reports as needed.Provide level three support for the Support Services, Desktop Services and Store Services Groups in order to resolve client issues in a timely mannerAssist in SAN AdministrationParticipate in on call rotationOther duties as assignedQualificationsIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems in an Active Directory environment, with minimum three years of practical technology experienceEMC SAN experienceVMWare experienceExperience with Tanium, Cyberark, and other system management toolsStrong troubleshooting, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAppropriate temperament and knowledge to assist with on-call user supportRetail experience preferredLinux experience a plus
