DescriptionThe Creative Group is looking to hire Creative Strategist to assist with a leading advertising agency in Playa Vista, California. This is a temporary to full time opportunity and all applicants must be available to work onsite, starting immediately. Responsibilities: Work closely with the Sr. Director of Creative Strategy to develop ground-breaking creative frameworks that are the foundation of social, PR, experiential and influencer initiatives. Must hold a deep knowledge and understanding of culture, and how trends in technology, entertainment, business, and social media impact our world. And a clear ability to communicate how this information translates into actionable strategies for our clients. An understanding of how to create unique stories across a diverse range of media - including a thorough understanding of all major social media platforms . Research and analyze cultural, market and industry insights that inform creative concepts and strategies. You give insights that provide strategic context to elevated the creative teams output. A creative and strategic thinker able to connect our client’s goals through a logical approach . An expert in applying culturally-rooted insights . Provide feedback that helps work align strategically with our clients objectives and goals. Analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth. Have a deep knowledge of brand strategy and understand how to build and apply it to help our clients achieve success . Develop internal/external briefs from client RFPs into an agency brief. Translate concepts into compelling pitches and effectively create impactful presentations and reports . Develop high-level, multi-platform strategic campaigns for clients. Actively participate and lead brainstorming sessions with the creative team. Collaborate with the creative production team and support the execution of partnership projects from ideation through completion. Conceptualize, plan, and execute across various content platforms. Collaborate with other internal departments such as Social Media, Experiential, Influencer, and Public Relations teams to develop pitch decks. Attend pitch meetings with clients to gain new business. Advertising/Brand, Branded Content, or Editorial writing experience within an agency setting Strong quantitative and qualitative research experience including, but not limited to multicultural research, focus groups, and interviews to ascertain insights Self-directed strategist with outstanding writing and editing abilities Must be a confident and charismatic presenter, able to command the room Ability to create stunning presentations for clients At ease presenting and brainstorming creative ideas in a client-facing setting. Quick thinking and resourceful, with the capability to prioritize and be held accountable for multiple projects with fast turnarounds. Highly organized and with a strong attention to detail. Strong familiarity with all major social media platforms, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tumblr, LinkedIn, etc. Strong proficiency in Google Slides and Keynote Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and HTML a plus Experience applying tech, culture, entertainment, business and social media trends into creative solutions Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage insights to draw sound conclusions and recommendations. Creativity and innovation are essential and must enjoy working in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
