automotive care.Position SummaryReporting to the IT & Facilities Manager, this position providing
telephone and desk side support for HEB information systems, receiving,
tracking and answering general Information Systems requests, supporting
various clinical systems software, Microsoft Windows operating system
and related Microsoft applications, on-going daily support, and other
activities related to the operations of HEB's information systems.
Duties include developing a working knowledge of information systems for
all departments including general office software.Essential Functions Help desk tasks ? Oversee all help desk functions? Receive and log problem calls and requests for all Information
Systems operations including computer equipment, software, business
systems (Misys, Cyma, Haven, and others)? Provide preliminary diagnosis and troubleshooting by phone? Provide all desk side support as needed for computers and
software? Escalate Tier 2 and 3 issues to appropriate staff? Responsible for identifying a backup resource when not
available? Responsible for following up on open issues with end users? Administrate password reset of windows login systemHIPAA and Security Tasks? Review all activity logs for unusual occurrences and report
exceptions to management? Monitor and maintain agency antivirus defenses daily? Print out weekly antivirus logs? Monitor and report on agency system security status daily? Print and file logs weekly on system security status? Monitor and maintain event logs on network showing access by
end users daily? Print and file event logs monthly? Support maintaining and updating IT inventories for HIPAA
compliance on a daily basisGeneral Support Tasks ? Daily back office system checks (monitor servers for
operational errors, report and troubleshoot as needed)? Administrate software updates and installations? Assist or administrate IT projects as needed? Assist with Misys technical support? Document procedures as needed? Remain abreast of new computer-related technology that will
assist HEB in achieving its mission? Attend workshops and training sessions to improve knowledge
basePosition Requirements Good communication and writing skills; initiative; able to stay calm in
difficult situations; maturity and able to deal politely with end users;
physical capacity to move computer equipment as needed.Experience & Education ? High school diploma required, some college preferred,
associates or technical degree in information systems desirable.? Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in IT systems
support? Experience should include administration of email systems,
servers and end user support of Microsoft products? This position requires the ability to communicate to and
support all levels of the organization? Must have good organizational skills
