Responsibilities:• Provide technical assistance with software• Resolve issues for clients via phone or electronically• Track customer issues and resolutions• Assist with product implementations

Qualifications:• Working knowledge of billing requirements for commercial and government payors• Working knowledge of institutional billing (hospital) and/or professional billing (clinic/physician practice), claim forms and hospital mainframe systems, e.g. EPIC, GE, Siemens• Working knowledge of commercial, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement• Ability to build rapport with clients• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills• Positive and professional demeanor• Experience in a hospital/clinic setting is a plus.

Technical expertise:• Experience with ASC X12 HIPAA EDI transactions (837I, 837P, 835, 276/277, 270/271, 277CA)• Database and logic skills. Exposure to programming is a plus• Working knowledge of network and desktop operating systems• Scripting tools, batch files and Microsoft DOS• Other PC based software, specifically FTP clients and Text Editors, File management, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access
