Store Inventory Control Specialist

DescriptionGene Kim (gene.kim@roberthalf.com) is searching for a Store Inventory Control Specialist.This position is responsible for the overall control of the inventory and maintaining the on hands in the Company’s POS/Inventory System (Eagle) with the primary goal of protecting assets and driving profitability.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESManage inventory at Pleasant Hill location.Ensure inventory counts are performed and audited on a timely basis. Follow the written cycle count schedule. Train staff at retail stores as needed.Must be able to research and problem solve when inventory is incorrect. May require going through past receiving, transfer paperwork and internal counts to find discrepancies.Record inventory received in Eagle . Train staff at retail stores as needed.Works with vendors to address and resolve all issues related to order discrepancies.Record any and all vendor discounts in Eagle as directed by GM or Operations Manager.Set margin tables and price breaks in Catalyst as directed by GM or COO.Create new sku’s as needed by the stores and buyers ASAP (generally within one business day or less).Other duties as assigned.RequirementsRetail industry experience – ideally from a larger retailer (Target, Walmart, Starbucks, Safeway, etc.)

Good job stability and at a level above clerk (Lead, Assistant Manager, etc.)

Good communication and systems skills
