Position SummaryReporting to the IT & Facilities Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining the optimal performance of computer software and phone applications as assigned. This responsibility includes addressing technical issues relating to software and app implementation, function and upgrades as well as providing internal customer service to team members utilizing the applications.Essential Functions- Serve as software system administrator for company used software and applications, including but not limited to electronic medical record software, such as Netsmart and My Avatar, and document storage software such as AllDocs.
- Collaborates with internal departments (QEC, Clinical, etc) to provide ongoing support as needed.
- Assist with the implementation of new software and applications.
- Identify, analyze, document and resolve problems in software program functions.
- Provide day-to-day support to internal users regarding software/application questions and problems, perform preliminary diagnosis of problems. Provide or recommend training to users.
- Make recommendations for further adjustments to allow the agency to maximize utilization of existing software/applications.
- Act as an information resource to team members concerning potential computer and software/ applications.
- Create training manuals, including troubleshooting documents, as necessary to support team members.
- Ability to recognize trends and recommend program improvements or revisions.
- Create test cases and test data. Create and execute test scripts. Contribute to establishment of standards and procedures for functional program design and testing.
- Perform a wide variety of difficult to complex tasks related to software applications, technology and telecommunications systems including installation, configurations, advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, testing, and maintenance.
- Create, design, and implement automated Forms and WorkFlows.
- Identify and resolve any technical problems that might arise.
- Answer, update and resolve Help Desk tickets as assigned.
- Develop SQL queries as requested to support reporting needs/requirements.
- Participate in after hours and weekend on call rotation.
- All other duties as assigned by the IT & Facilities Manager.

- BS in Computer Science or closely related field, or 3-5 years of programming related experience (SQL and PowerShell scripting a plus).
- 4 years of progressively responsible experience in computer operations, including the use of and support of personal computers, networking and maintenance and applications.
- Knowledge in SharePoint, MS Suite, Office 365 for Business, Endpoint Manager, and MS Azure.
- Experience with relational and dimensional logical and physical database design, query optimization, performance tuning.
- Experience with healthcare related software preferred.
