The Global Account (Sales) Manager will be responsible for the achievement of global sales targets, design win capture, and continued revenue growth within the Global Semi Market focused on KLA.

Key Responsibilities

The Global Account (Sales) Manager will ensure the attainment of revenue targets by managing ongoing business and securing new design wins within the Semi Market OEMs Globally. This individual must be able to sell strategically and thrive in a cross-functional team environment. Specifically, this individual will: Own direct account management, drive attainment of sales, profit and market share objectives. Develop and deliver Strategic Account Review presentations, build solid customer relationships, and negotiate and close deals within Company guidelines; Identify and secure design-wins with existing customers and new prospects; Maintain knowledge and expertise in relevant products and markets; monitor competitive activity and market trends; partner with Product Management & Applications Engineering to develop strategic and tactical response; Serve as initial point of contact on issues within the region; coordinate evaluation and input by appropriate functional colleagues; Support core business processes including the cash call, monthly & quarterly operating reviews, and annual operating planning through forecasting effectiveness, sales reporting, and expense management; Be an expert on key accounts.

Critical Success Factors Technical Skills: Knowledge in engineering, optics, optical components and light sources, or physics desirable. Experience with life science instruments, instrument OEMs, applications, or marketplace helpful. Sales Skills: Strong customer orientation. Must be able to manage strategic sales process in complex customer organizations. 3+ years of sales experience with demonstrated knowledge of OEM sales. Communication Skills: Strong leadership presence with an ability to develop and deliver targeted presentations at all levels within an organization. Demonstrated interpersonal savvy with proven ability to build effective relationships throughout all levels internally and externally. Leadership and Management of Resources: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a cross-functional environment. Expertise motivating others toward the achievement of objectives. Business & Organization Knowledge: Understands business and core processes. Performance: Exhibits a strong bias for action with a results-orientation. Drives self and others to deliver on commitments. Anticipates and adjusts, demonstrating positive change management.

Summary

As our major accounts increase their global footprint and become more globally integrated, we need to manage the account on a global basis to support the existing business develop and win new business.Global companies will do product development in one region; launch the initial build of the product in another region, and do volume production in another region of the world. We also need to match them on an engineering, operations, quality and service on a worldwide level.

• Global Accounts Manager:o Account Management responsibility for assigned North America sites• Lead Team of Account Managers within respective Regions:o Lead assigned Account Managers with their respective regions who cover the Global Account in Singapore, Germany, Israel and Chinao Define and communicate Account Strategy and Objectives through Global Account Meetings – lead effort in writing and presenting Strategic Account review to executive staff.o Communicate with team via conference calls on a monthly basis to update Regional activities, assign and update team action items.o Travel to Global Regions to meet with accounts and Regional Account Managers.• Note: Regional Account Managers report to their respective Sales Manager within Region.• Product portfolio includes ALL products from each Division (Optics, Lighting, Detection)• Point person for negotiating Global Agreements with Exec Involvement• Measurements:o Performance Scorecard via Quarterly Business Reviewso Performance to Plan at sites with direct responsibility (and for virtual team sites)o Design Wins at sites with direct responsibility (and for virtual team sites)• Reporting:o For assigned Region sites, twice Quarterly KAM Account Forecast Reporto Working with Global Account Team, write and communicate Strategic Account Reviews for assigned accounts on annual basis to the Executive Management teamo Trip Reports for significant developments at the account

Job Requirements• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Physics, Engineering or other relevant field.• 5-10+ years of sales experience with demonstrated knowledge of OEM sales.
