Kelly Technology has an opening for Java Developer to work with our client for 1 year. Must be local to Pleasanton, CA SUMMARY

  • Contributes to all aspects of the software development lifecycle with a focus on developing integrations using Java and other technologies.
  • Assesses client's desktop/server/network/storage infrastructure and IT management processes.
  • Plans large virtualized systems infrastructure rollouts and migrations.
  • Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned.
    • Principal Responsibilities: Applies solid knowledge and understanding of Java web service, REST services, SOA industry development standards and testing techniques.
    • Documents both inside code and external design specifications.
    • Strengthens the software delivery process based on the Agile principles.
    • Demonstrates thought leadership in cloud computing and virtualization and their application.
    • Develops standard reusable "productized" consulting service offerings and enhancements to our methodology, including the definition of tasks, deliverables and standard estimates.
    • Collaborates with client and practice team members to move the engagement from a solutions design concept through architectural definition to implementation of the services solution.
    • Delivers a high-value services solution to the client on time, within budget, and meeting all quality and solution design specifications.
    • Provides services solutions implementation and delivery guidance. Develops an understanding of client business needs, current industry environment and market solution trends to contribute to the refinement of current or build of new practice offerings.
    • Cultivates client relationships and develops the practice reputation as a leading-edge provider of client services solutions.
    • Creates and/or identifies demand for new and additional services solutions engagements

REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree /or relevant work experience of substantially the same level.
  • Experience with front-end technologies - Angular, React a plus.
  • Strong OOPS concepts
  • Proficiency in at least one of the languages Java/Python and working/hands on knowledge on the other.
  • Scripting
  • Worked on high transactional systems.
  • Have implemented and used cloud services In AWS (ECS, EC2, S3, SNS, Kinesis)
