Our client is one of the largest retailers in the world. Yet their IT department is nimble and dynamic and works with cutting-edge technologies. They are currently trying to fulfill au urgent role for the MarTech Technical Lead. This position is a Contract-To-Hire and is located in Pleasanton, California. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the technical team assigned to a project, on-shore, off-shore, and near-shore through all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Provides technical guidance, training, and mentoring to development teams on the solution and technical designs.
- Participate in program requirement discussions with stakeholders, Product Managers, Business Partners, and various IT teams from Enterprise Architecture, DevOps/Infrastructure, Enterprise Data Management, and other digital domains outside of Marketing (Shopping Experience, Fulfillment, Loyalty).
- Design and implement complex multi-wave, multi-channel triggered/transactional communications and marketing campaigns in the most efficient, optimized, and cost-effective way.
- Work alongside Data platform and Domain teams to define, analyze, and solve the data needs and segmentation strategy for marketing campaigns and various messaging/communications via batch, triggers or NRT.
- Design, Manage and Orchestrate solutions for Attribution, Measurement, and Optimization.
- Work with vendor partners to influence roadmap and tool enhancements for personalized omni-channel based marketing.
- Use Agile Scrum practices to deliver solutions with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- 10+ years combined architecture, design, implementation and practical programming experience.
- Experience in Campaign Management tool (Adobe, Salesforce, etc.) and integration with CMS and/or CDP.
- Experience with Adobe Cloud products such as Adobe Experience Manager (highly preferred), and Target, Analytics, Audience Manager, and Cloud Triggers, a plus.
- Experience with MDM (Master Data Management), Snowflake, and Big Data, highly preferred.
- Bonus if you have experience working with marketing technology platforms such as Deep Linking / Data Attribution, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Creative Management Platforms (CMP), Workflow Automation, and Content Management.
- Significant understanding and experience in best practices around systems integration, security, performance and data management.
- Solid marketing automation background, custom build, or tool-based solutions.
- Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript programming, and web component-based templating, a huge plus.
- Familiar with unit testing, functional testing, and performance testing framework/tools.
- Knowledge in cloud computing platforms e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure.
- Familiarity with API/microservice architecture, Web Services Technologies, a plus.
- Certification in Adobe Campaign Business Practitioner, Developer, or Architect.
