Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Responsibilities

Interact with various Linux teams (development, product management, qa) to deeply understand projects and goals.

Define schedules and scope for projects and prepare progress and status reports across a variety of projects in a way that's easy to consume by peers and senior management.

Continuously look across projects to spot dependencies and risks to ensure awareness and schedule alignment.

Recommend and justify changes to schedules or direction to improve the user experience.

Drive projects to completion by using your influence to unblock issues and by coming up with creative solutions to problems.

Preferred Education and Skills

BS or MS degree in CS, EE, or related field

hands-on experience with clouds: OCI, Azure, AWS, GCP

good understanding of the cloud native landscape

5 years of project/program management experience

software development experience
