Product Manager- Digital Labs My client is at the forefront of the revolution in retail and are currently looking for a Product Manager to build best in class customer experiences and maximize return on investment by leveraging digital technologies. The position will be based out of their Pleasanton, CA facility but will be remote for now. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Primary product manager for 3rd Party Marketplace partnerships (delivery services)
- Be the technical lead for instructing partners on catalog and data requirements
- Meet with partners on an ongoing basis to discuss ongoing partnership and integration needs
- Responsible for integration of transactional logs from partner's platforms into database
- Troubleshoot issues such as tax compliance and exemption rules during customer journey
- Identify unmet partner & customer needs and develop new features/functionality to improve the onboarding and ongoing management of 3rd Party Marketplace partners
- Document existing partner integrations and create an integration playbook for current and future integrations
- Work closely with other product management departments to understand their current roadmaps & where there could be overlapping concepts or opportunities to work together
- Coordinate with engineering teams to assess scope and technical solutions
- Create and manage a product backlog of user stories for UX/Design and Engineering for 3rd party marketplace improvements
- Partner with QA (Quality Assurance) teams to ensure the deployment of high-quality feature enhancements
- Work with Jira/Confluence to manage product roadmaps, project tracking, success criteria and high-level requirements
- Identify areas that require customer research and proposes research activities to direct supervisor and user experience team. Partners with user experience team to user-test designs through mock-ups, functional prototypes, etc. to ensure they are meeting intended goals
- Bachelor's degree required
- 6-9 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: program management, project management, product marketing, business development, management consulting desired
- Internet and retail experience strongly preferred
- Experience with A/B testing and or web experimentation
- 2-3 years of experience supporting 3rd party partnerships and fulfillment models preferred
- Experience in catalog integration preferred
- Usability and customer-focused design experience a plus
- Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have experience presenting concepts/ideas to senior management for feedback and approval
- Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems
- Strong quant and analytical abilities you use data to make decisions but do not suffer from analysis paralysis
