This position will be mainly remote, with limited trips required to office in Pleasanton, CA. Requires proof of vaccination to go into office occasionally.Position PurposeManager Product Management will support the management of Own Brands category management, vendor management and innovation project management to deliver top and bottom-line growth.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:New Item Product Management & Category Management.

Lead cross functional teams to commercialize new products or product improvements with excellence including problem solving challenges.

Support the strategic direction and vision for new products of existing brands.

Analyze brand, category and competitive trends and dynamics leading to key conclusions, implications and recommended action plans.

Ensure on-time delivery of new item, line extension, and innovation projects.

Support & help identify key growth opportunities by category and develop a strategy for growth through disciplined category management.

Strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data to accurately plan and forecast the Own Brands business.

Build presentation decks with supporting data enabling sell-in of initiatives to senior leadership.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Marketing, Economics, or Finance

5+ years' experience selling / influencing decision makers

5+ years of product innovation management, brand management and/or category management experience in a CPG or retail company

Expert knowledge of Own Brands' operations and business

Expert analytical skills: category management analytics, PC skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)

Proven experience utilizing internal or syndicated financial and consumer insights data to build plans and drive performance metrics

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across the business

Expert organization, prioritization, and project management skills, with the ability to develop detailed timelines and ensure all milestones are delivered by due dates

Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to understand and communicate techniques involved in training, merchandising and marketing brand items

Strong presentation skills with ability to present to senior leaders both internally and externally

Strong customer service focus and team building skills
