Digital Intelligence Systems (DISYS) has been engaged to identify a
Senior Mobile Android Developer to work with a foremost Healthcare IT’s Mobile Center of Excellence designing, building, testing, deploying and standardizing the mobile direction within the organization. This position requires a high degree of expertise in the Android development space with the ability to help set standards, establish guidelines and best practices as well as provide technical consultation and development leadership to new and ongoing mobile efforts. The ideal resource must have experience developing mobile apps, reusable components, working with diverse business partners and the ability to juggle multiple concurrent development efforts.Working as a Senior Mobile Developer, you will have a key role in designing, building, testing, deploying and establishing standards for mobile applications that could revolutionize the health care space. This is an unique opportunity to help one of the largest health care providers in America in establishing a new approach to development in mobile health care applications.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in development including defining requirements, developing solution alternatives and estimates and translating client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions.
- Strong Android development and architecture understanding.
- Strong knowledge of Android Material Design.
- Experience with Android Studio, Git, MacOS.
- Experience creating automated Android unit tests.
- Must have demonstrated experience in Android Development. (4 years of experience preferred.)
- Experience working on Agile teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skill.
- Experience integrating 3rd party source code and/or libraries.
- Experience with AARs (both consuming and creating them).
- Experience consuming and developing XML and JSON web services.
- Experience in Test-Driven Development principles and tools for Android.
- Understanding of concurrent programming and which thread a given piece of logic should run on.
- Manage risk and change with an agile approach.
- Adept at learning new technologies quickly.
- Experience with Gradle and creating custom tasks.
- Experience with git and GitHub to manage and share source code.
- Experience with Maven.
- Experience with CI servers (e.g., Jenkins, Sonar).
