Sr. Technical Program ManagerPleasanton, CALong-Term Engagement and/or contract to hire$80-85/hr W2 or up to $95/hr on C2C contractKelly IT Resources is recruiting for an amazing leadership opportunity for an individual to run point as a big-picture Sr. Technical Program Manager for high-profile, high-visibility, project and programs, for our client in Pleasanton, CA.We are working directly with the manager and know just how critical this need is for him to fill. They need a Sr. Level Technical Project/Program manager to help lead and manage critical IT enterprise initiatives and run point, at a high-level, to ensure these projects and programs are successful.The selected individual will be responsible for the Program Management for critical software product/platform enhancements, cross-functional initiatives, and other enterprises solutions. Create and distribute multi-level communication and status reports (core team, extended team, executive team) and Steering Committee updates.

Manages all phases of complex enterprise-wide, global Technology initiatives. Ensures the initiative is aligned with company strategic objectives and has executive support. Leads the effort to scope, resource, and schedule complex project plans. Drives project progress and works cross-functionally at the senior management level to resolve issues and clear roadblocks. Communicates key project messages to all levels of the organization.

Simultaneously manages multiple sub teams across overall project and directs leaders of other subteams.

Interactions: Executives, International business leaders Senior Technology Management, Internal cross functional management teams, project team members, vendor/customer teams

Works with one or more executives acting in the role of sponsor of the project.

Creates risk-management assessment, advises executives of the trade-offs, and monitors risk factors continually.

Provides updates to executives and when necessary influences them to obtain resources and resolve major issues.

Ensures all subteam leaders have clarified roles and responsibilities

Simultaneously manages multiple sub teams across overall project and directs leaders of other subteams.

Facilitates meetings including project review sessions, executive updates, and sessions to resolve cross-functional issues.

Simultaneously addresses multiple complex issues affecting project schedule and works cross-functionally to address issues and clear roadblocks.

Monitors overall project budget, works with executives to address budgetary issues.

Creates engagement and project support by involving directly-affected employees in design and decisions.

Manages requirements changes. Negotiates changes between business users and technical teams. Ensures all requirement changes are fully communicated.

Provides updates to executives and when necessary influences them to obtain resources and resolve major issues.

Uses a variety of technologies and formats to ensure project communications reach all applicable

Manage scrum of scrum meetings

Strong ability to use tools such as work breakdown structures, critical path analysis, and Gantt charts to analyze and communicate project plans.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project

Competency in one or more of tools such as Jira, Rally, and CA PPM
