Title: Storage Systems ArchitectLocation: Pleasanton, CA, Vacaville, CA or Sacramento, CA Type: 12 months contract with potential extensionsPosition will be remote until offices reopen Qualifications:

  • 10+ years related system engineering/Infrastructure and customer support experience.
  • 2+ years implementing and supporting VVOLs
  • Extensive experience implementing and supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure.
  • 5+ years experience automating infrastructure systems (REST API, JSON, Ansible)
  • 5+ years experience administering / troubleshooting / implementing File, Block, and Object Storage
This position will act as a primary technical principal and is responsible for delivery of Storage solutions at an enterprise level. Expertise in Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) SAN and NetApp NAS technologies and experience with a multi-Data Center environment. Candidates for this position must be able to, from day one, roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running, and bring their experience to the team to make the project deployments much smoother
  • Provide Senior Level Storage Systems Server setup, administration, configurations, and automated implementations
  • Help support State Fund s Enterprise Storage environments and resources for optimal efficiency, functionality, security, and management.
  • Oversee planning, design, implementation, and operation of Enterprise Storage Arrays (On- Prem/Cloud) infrastructure projects and participate in the specification of business requirements and implementation plans.
  • Provide operational support and experience with managing virtualized infrastructures.
  • Participate in Capacity planning and Disaster Recovery.
