Job Title: UX Researcher

Duration: 6+ Months contract

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Duties: Plan, lead and execute research to understand the context and needs of employees through qualitative and or quantitative methodologies, from discovery to implementation Work collaboratively inside a cross-functional team, effectively integrating your research into the product definition and design phases Should be comfortable with architectural design tasks such as user flows, information architecture definition, task analysis Validate design direction through early concept testing, formative and summative usability testing Leverage existing ServiceNow user groups and communities as an additional channel for eliciting feedback Communicate your findings through artifacts such as personas, presentations, charts and visuals

Skills:At least 5 years of experience leading and conducting research projects on web-based and mobile apps, utilizing a variety of methodologies, such as user interviews, usability testing, information architecture, surveys, concept testing, data analysis, benchmarking, etc.Knowledge of best practices for accessibility, user interface, interaction design, and design systemsMust have very strong written and verbal English communicationMust thrive on complex, uncertain challenges and have a positive and problem solving attitudeMust present a project showcasing the research process from beginning to end, demonstrating the impact of findings, insights and recommendations on the subject being studiedExperience with UserTesting, Qualtrics, OptimalWorkshop to conduct research; and Figma, Sketch and Invision to collaborate with Designers when preparing to conduct research to walk-through prototypes and designs

Education:Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in a cognitive science (Psychology, Anthropology, Neuroscience, Communication), Human-Computer Interaction or related
