Title: UI Developer Location: Remote Type: 3 months contract with potential extensions The team is headlining the effort of revamping the UI of the Enterprise Planning product suite that has strong and growing customer base, along with implementing Web Accessibility standards such as keyboard shortcuts and screen reader support.Job Description:We are looking for a UI Developer who is proficient in Web Accessibility standards to join the Workday Adaptive Planning product team. Your primary focus will be working on Accessibility remediation in our existing product suite, resolving issues to ensure that keyboard navigation and shortcuts work as expected, as well as adding any missing labels and aria tags that are needed for screen reader support.Responsibilities:-Make all desired parts of the product suite accessible, including for screen readers-Collaborate with UX design team to drive for the best possible end-user experienceRequired Skills/Experience-5+ years of frontend development experience in an enterprise software product-Strong skills implementing Web Accessibility standards-Strong skills with modern front end web technologies: JavaScript, CSS,, HTML.-Good understanding of code design and architecture-Strong debugging skills across all major browsers-Experience implementing high quality code using automation and unit testing frameworks-Strong communication and organizational skills-BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldNice to Have-Experience with Agile development process (Scrum)-Experience with React components is a plus
