The Sr. Systems Analyst, Integration will report to the Director of Integration and Architecture and is responsible for the overall development and support of interfaces between systems as well as business process automation. The incumbent recommends, designs and develops interfaces and integration processes to support the exchange of data between systems using Siemens Openlink and Cerner Millennium OpenEngine interface tools. The incumbent is responsible for the creation and documentation of technical specifications for any new interfaces developed. The incumbent must have thorough knowledge of the integration needs of an integrated healthcare delivery system, have working experience in the development and/or implementation of data repositories and clinical patient records.Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years working experience with interface development tools and interface engines software in a Healthcare environment with HL7 transactions.
- In depth experience with the HL7 messaging standard required
- Minimum 3 years development and support experience with Siemens Openlink and Cerner Millennium OpenEngine
- Experience with hospital registration, financial and clinical systems helpful.
- Requires advanced use of SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, data types, table structures and database design types.
- Must have strong problem and issue resolution experience.
- Must be able to work closely with application users, vendors and technical professionals building team environments whenever necessary.
- Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Must show strong organizational skills, and project management skills. Must be able to prioritize multiple projects in a constantly changing environment.
