Cerner PowerChart Applications Analyst
- The perfect candidate will have experience supporting Cerner applications within the PowerChart EHR system
- The experienced Applications Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and developing clinical Cerner application tools to meet customer needs; support project implementation activity; document requirements and define scope and objectives.
- The Analyst’s primary goal is to support our clients with system changes and enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance, which can include system testing, troubleshooting, issue management, training and go-lives.
- Provide technical application(s) support across multiple environments with a primary focus on Cerner Millennium PowerChart EHR software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
- Experience collecting user requirements, translating to system feature enhancements, and requesting enhancements of a system administrator
- Ability to evaluate and analyze EHR features and functionality for problem resolution
- Provide support for the correct operational and clinical processes aligned with best practices.
- Troubleshoot system issues to resolution or escalation to vendor.
- Educates end users on design recommendations and configuration tasks to ensure their understanding and knowledge of maintaining workflows and content long term.
- Adheres to change management process for break fix and any system changes.
- Performs system testing to ensure that all product functions work as designed
- Experience with design, build, testing, implementation and maintenance of the Cerner Millennium system is required. A minimum of two (2) years of Cerner application analysis and coordination experience, OR five (5) years of professional/technical experience in health care involving clinical workflow/operations or clinical systems support preferred
