Clinical Informatics Analyst – Cerner The Clinical Informatics Analyst functions as the liaison and point of escalation to promote the interoperability of clinical applications. Collaborates with clinical areas and information system staff to design, implement develop quality clinical systems. Servers as a resource for the daily operational issues, providing feedback for system modification to optimize clinical workflows and processes. Woks with staff to provide direct trouble-shooting, problem resolution, and training to optimize system use. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support clinical applications (troubleshooting, updates, fixes and project support, on-call)
- Responsible for supporting PowerChart, PowerNotes, PowerForms
- Develop test scripts and assist with workflow developments
- Work with the Clinical Informatics team hand-in-hand and resolve issues for the end user
- Documenting detailed description of user needs, program functions and steps required to develop or modify computer programs
- Documents all build activities in conjunction with updating vendor provided applications specifications and perform integration and unit testing
- Adhere to version control processes
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent work experience in a related field and
- 2 to 5 years in a professional capacity within a computing environment, with a demonstrated progression in responsibilities and experience
- Experience with clinical applications required • Previous Healthcare Industry Experience Preferred
- Nurse or Nursing experience preferred (RN, LPN) with Nursing EMR or EMR implementation a plus
