Job DescriptionJoin the Clean Energy RevolutionBecome a Compliance and Training Senior Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will lead a team of senior advisors and technical experts in the area of SCE’s Public Power Safety Shutoff. Provide strategic direction to team on operational compliance policy, processes, procedure development, program management, continuous improvements, operational training development and delivery. Coordinate with cross functional regulatory, compliance, and engineering departments as necessary to improve the efficiency of the PSPS compliance program. Provide management and leadership direction to personnel in the compliance and training organization.

Set organizational goals and metrics and manage personnel performance.

Manage the PSPS operational compliance program and related training strategy

Manage internal and external compliance audit engagements

Represent T&D in various internal and external forums as the expert in the area of PSPS compliance

Develop company compliance position and advocate for related objectives

Develop a strategy and program for compliance training and technology improvements

Providing regularly PSPS compliance and training initiative updates to T&D senior leaders and executives.

Manage coordination with cross-functional organizations and personnel directly involved in PSPS compliance activities

Reporting compliance performance to senior leaders and executives on PSPS event activities

Providing strategic direction to staff on compliance data collection and evidence retention for PSPS events

Coordinating cross-organizational compliance related communications, evidence collection requirements, and external communication support.

QualificationsThe essentials

Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical field.

Five or more years managing/supervising an organization/unit and/or leading projects/programs.

The preferred

Master’s degree in business or related field

Experience with PSPS compliance program, process and protocols

Experience with Wildfire Management Plans and process in California

Experience with PSPS processes and related mitigation work

Experience with operations policies, practices, procedures, objectives, and strategies

The primary work location for this position is Pomona PIV 3; however, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at our Irwindale location.

Position will require up to 15% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
