Development and implementation of data management and storage procedure, using industry format standards, with proper controls and authorities for access, retention and change

Develop and recommend data management tools and software to ensure quality & compliance of ISS’s data inputs & outputs

Interface with T&D’s Data Governance team and I/T counterparts to assure the quality, security, and integrity of existing and future data inputs and outputs

Support in planning the execution of future planning software platforms (and updates to existing planning software platforms) to support the broader SCE & T&D business strategies

QualificationsThe essentials

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

5+ years of experience with using Engineering Software power system analysis platforms, data inputs, and study outputs.

Experience identifying business problems and solutions to address issues related to data controls and management.

The preferred

3 years or more in data control management practices, using data control tools, or maintaining data integrity requirements

Familiar with International Standards for data formats and CIM data bases and tools

Familiar with CPUC and NERC reliability standards and compliance requirements

Demonstrated experience running PSLF, PSCAD, SCD or other commonly used power system planning tools that use large data bases

This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation.
