Naval Sustainment and Product Support Engineer, JuniorThe Opportunity: What if you could use your expertise to modernize and provide life cycle support for the deployed and next-generation defense tools and te chn ology? You'll work with a large community of sustainment engineers and product support experts to deliver world-class solutions to improve capability, availability supportability and affordability. You will support a dynamic team to analyze and execute the implementation of modernization and product support plans. The world can't wait.You Have:- Experience with sustainment engineering approaches to determine cost effective supportability requirements
- Experience with maintaining te chn ical and product support documentation
- Knowledge of Department of Defense life cycle product support policies
- Knowledge of process improvement tools
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead staff in sustainment and product support strategies
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with developing key logistics and product support documents, including schedules, acquisition plans, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Training Plans, Obsolescence Plans, and Maintenance Plans
- Knowledge of the Navy Modernization Process
- Knowledge of model-based systems engineering ( MBSE ) or model-based product support concepts and tools as asso cia ted with program platform digital engineering for Naval programs
- BS degree in Engineering
- PMP or Defense Acquisition University Certification
