DescriptionDo you enjoy being the "face" of the company?OfficeTeam is partnering with a local client at a Non-profit Organization in Portola Valley to fill an Office Assistant/Front Desk Coordinator role!If you have any experience handling? inbound and outbound calls, are comfortable interfacing with all levels of staff including Executive staff, experience handling administrative projects, and are passionate of showcasing your customer service skills, OfficeTeam is interested in meeting you!This position is expected to start quickly and is an ongoing temporary assignment.Key Responsibilities may vary with the following below:

Answer a multi-line switchboard.

Greeting callers, transferring calls to appropriate staff

Locating and transferring urgent and non-urgent calls

Ability to act as gatekeeper for calls soliciting services

Administrative tasks as assigned

Clerical duties- filing, faxing, checking the fax machine for documents, scanning, handling in/ out mail, ensuring the mail are timestamped, ensuring the kitchen is tidy and cleaned (dishwasher ran at the end of the day), coffee is made in the morning,

Catering and ordering supplies

Routing mail to the appropriate person

Diligent, possess high attention to detail, and enjoy fast-paced environments

Comfortable with working on multi-line phone systems.

Proven work experience where problem solving skills were crucial

Ability to learn new computer databases and systems

Possess a sense of urgency when it comes to internal and external requests

Able to work in a variety of industries, size of companies, and with hiring manager

Basic to Intermediate skills in MS Office particularly in MS Outlook and MS Word

Experience with non-profits preferred
