DescriptionThere's an exciting opportunity for a detail oriented Bookkeeper through Accountemps at a growing firm. Strong social skills and a collaborative work style are a must for this position. This short-term temporary-to-full-time Bookkeeper position is based in the Poway, California region.What you get to do every day
Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Oversee and manage general ledger
Monitor accounts by balancing entries
Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Look after archived records by categorizing documents
Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Prior experience working with accounting software
Strong familiarity with bookkeeping
Solid understanding of QuickBooks
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
