Contract to Hire Opportunity In order to deliver our exceptional services, we need a dedicated and enthusiastic, hard-working, Desktop Support Technician. That s where you come in! You will deliver exceptional customer service as the face of CompuCom. You will be helpful, relatable, and pleasant while you are diagnosing and fixing our clients technical problems. Rotating shifts: 7:00 am-3:30 pm, 9:00 am-5:00 pm plus overtime and on-call rotation. Overview:
- Solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite technical issues on network infrastructure and internal desktop systems
- Carry out installs, moves, adds, & changes as needed (IMAC)
- Customize communication, instructions, and product knowledge to the level of the individual
- Determine the most cost-effective repair to minimize customer downtime
- Prepare reports for analysis
- 1+ years of related experience, or AA degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A+ certification
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 0365 required
- Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
- Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands
- Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through
