You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook.ResponsibilitiesThis position is accountable for supporting the Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME) for the Dignity Health Greater Sacramento Service Area (GSSA) and has the responsibility of working in concert with the CME Program Director and the Education and Library Committee. The incumbent will help assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of hospital and regional CME activities to ensure the continued accreditation of the CME program and ensure CME activities meet ACCME and IMQ/CMA accreditation criteria and comply with Dignity Health GSSA Office of Continuing Medical Education policies. The incumbent will oversee the entire accredited continuing medical education process, to include plan, develop, market, coordinate, implement, monitor and evaluate fiscally sound CME activities, under supervision of the CME program director.1.1 Assist program director to ensure that all CME activities, documentation and promotional materials comply with program objectives and guidelines set by the ACCME and IMQ/CMA.1.2 Accountable for the entire CME development, implementation, and outcome measurement under supervision of the CME program director.1.3 Work with physicians within Dignity Health and in external partner sites.1.4 Planning, development, and identifying education gaps/needs for implementation of services provided for all physician educational activities.1.5 Assist in review and approval of submitted CME activities.1.6 Maintaining program documentation/records.1.7 May be responsible for management of commercial exhibit fees and grants consistent with IMQ/CMA and ACCME accreditation standards and Dignity Health compliance policies and procedures under direction of program director.1.8 Promotion of CME programs and activities, including design and distribution of promotional materials.1.9 Arrange for audiovisual equipment requirements and presentation materials, and negotiate with conference venues.1.10 Assist with the CME re-accreditation process.1.11 Provide support function with the regional medical library and CME database.1.12 Able to meet defined deadlines.QualificationsREQUIRES:Experience in desktop publishing, Microsoft Office, databases, Microsoft Office, powerpoint, and WebEx; and experience in planning, coordinating, implementing and follow through of large scale conference education (required).

Knowledge of IMQ/CMA and ACCME accreditation criteria or have the ability to quickly acquire a thorough understanding of such (required).

PREFERS:Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, or Education (preferred).
