Contract to Hire Opportunity We have an immediate opening for a Desktop Support Technician. Work schedule: rotating shifts: 7 am-3:30 pm, 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Overtime and on-call may be required. Overview:
- Support Windows 10 and MS Office 365
- Support remote access
- Imaging
- IMACs
- Break-fix support, changing system boards, HDDs, laptop LCDs, etc.
- Receiving equipment, unboxing, and deploying (setup, breakdown)
- Ship and track equipment to remote users and track returns documenting everything in the ticket
- All work comes from the ServiceNow ticketing system
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Windows 10 experience
- Microsoft O365 experience
- Good troubleshooting skills on both hardware and software
- Must be detailed and process-oriented, able to work independently following detailed steps, and be able to document troubleshooting steps taken and maintain daily ticket status
- Ability to communicate IT language in terms everyone can understand
- Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through
- Not intimidated by problems you ve never seen before - confidence is key!
