We have a 6 month contract to hire for a RTE (Release Train Engineer). The position will be remote but the candidate needs to sit in either Charlotte or Sacramento. This is a contract to hire position and at some point in the future when returning to work then the candidate will need to sit on-site. The 1st preference is for the candidate to sit in is Sacramento, 2nd preference is Charlotte NC. The candidate or holder as this is a contract to hire position. The RTE will be part of a multi year project to implement AWS Connect Contact Center platform. The RTE will be responsible for getting the Agile Teams to use Jira Align and implement the use of Capabilities with this new tool. The RTE will also provide coaching to the Agile Teams and Scrum Masters. Will be responsible for producing metrics and utilizing metrics to improve the processes and delivery.
Requirements for this position are:1. 3+ years experience as a RTE in a AWS Connect environment. If not AWS Connect then the candidate must have been a Scrum Master in a Cloud environment.2. MUST have Jira Align. They have been using Jira for years and now starting to use Jira Align. The RTE will be helping the teams using Capabilities as a layer in addition to Features, Stories and Epics.3. Certified in Scrum or SAFe.3. SAFe 5.0 or 5.1 experience4. Jira Align. They have been using Jira for years and now starting to use Jira Align so it's a huge plus if the candidate has this experience(For Agile Scrum they have been using Features, Stories and Epics, but Jira Align incorporates another layer using Capabilities.)
