Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The Controller will take on a pivotal role, managing all aspects of financial operations from analysis and reporting to budgeting and forecasts. This role involves overseeing the accounting department and its operations, supervising a team of five, and implementing financial best practices. Please call Brigitte Mendez @ 909-717-4037 or call your Robert Half recruiter directly.Responsibilities Oversee the operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management Implement financial best practices to improve the company's finance strategy Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial data Conduct financial audits and maintain compliance with regulations Regularly review financial data to ensure accuracy and provide financial reports Supervise a team of five, guiding their daily tasks and mentoring them for career development Utilize accounting software systems such as Sage and QuickBooks Process accounts payable and receivable, and manage all accounting functions Oversee budget processes and manage financial forecasts Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial team members and the executive teamRequirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing industry as a Controller Proficient in 3M Extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with CRM Ability to use Crystal Reports Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Solid background in Auditing Familiarity with Budget Processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
