OverviewElement Has an opportunity for a Radiographic NDT Level II Technician to conduct radiographic testing in accordance with company approved procedures while paying close attention to safety and project timelines.Responsibilities
Conduct radiography (Gamma ray) tests in accordance with written company procedures
Prepares test specimens, sets up and adjusts test equipment.
Film interpretation of casting and weld
Technique development
Interpret codes and specifications
Complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Analyzes and interprets test data.
Maintains related test equipment and tools in good working condition.
Able to clearly and legibly report test results
Other duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Experience with Radiographic processes
Experience testing some combination of: Welds, castings, steel, titanium and aluminum
Experience using industry specs such as: ASTM, Boeing, GE, Honeywell and Pratt
Ability to organize and document NDT results
Familiar with testing codes and standards
Must be able to read and write English
