One or more years experience in building maintenance or construction
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Perform physical work, as well as to lift weights of up to 75 pounds regularly.
Must be flexible and able to work independently.

Friendly, willingness to engage with customers.
Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and dexterity.
Recommended:
Previous maintenance experience.
Responsibilities:
Respond to service requests regarding required maintenance items, etc.
Follow and adhere to an established preventive maintenance program for all guestrooms, public spaces.
Perform emergency maintenance as required and follow all safety procedures.
Effectively communicate with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms.
Check rooms to ensure guest satisfaction.

THIS IS NOT AN ON THE JOB TRAINING POSITION
This Hotel Maintenance position is where you will work primarily at our hotel but on occasion may travel to work at our other local hotels as well.
This is minor work in that your requirements are to be mechanically inclined & able to problem solve or trouble shoot issues. You have to be able to read instructions and able to follow direction. You must be able to work fast paced and independently with little to no supervision.
Honesty and integrity is mandatory, reliability and able to come in if needed at all hours and on any day as business dictates.
This job requires the following plus other duties that are not listed:
Standing for long periods
Sitting, bending, stooping, grabbing, reaching, and crawling
Not afraid of heights
Able to climb ladders when necessary
Not afraid to be wet at times, even in a cold atmosphere
Painting
Very light landscape maintenance
Light plumbing (toilet repair or replace, drain clogs,)
HVAC replacement, pull out put in, no wiring
Ice machine service (light, cleaning etc)
Door lock replacement, or battery replacement
Pressure washing
Daily trash removal from cans
