bio365 is a NorCal-based company selling next-generation soil products targeting commercial agriculture and cultivation. We are seeking a full-time, knowledgeable, passionate, and results-driven individual to join our soil production team in Redding, CA.
Our ideal candidate will begin as a full-time member of the production team and through leadership, hard work, and a good attitude will have the opportunity to rise to the position of production team leader and/or shift supervisor.
Production Responsibilities:
Work as part of the bagging team operating a soil production line following all quality protocols.
Safely move and stack up to 1000 bags of soil daily, about 30 lbs each
Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety protocols
Set-up mix line to pre-defined calibration points and follow quality control protocols
Perform cleaning of mix line, surrounding areas, and organize the work space
Operation of hand held bag sewing machine and/or automatic bag filling machine
Assist in setting up mix line as instructed, including use of ladders to fill equipment
Perform or assist with repairs under direction of Production Manager
Organize inventory on pallets weighing about 2000 lbs
Work well under a tight schedule
Available for overtime as required
We are looking for the following skills:
Leadership and communication
Ability to work both as a team member and as a team leader
Work safely and ensure team members follow safety protocols
Maintain accurate records of inventory, working under the direction of Production Manager
Perform and document regular safety inspections, as well as clean and maintain the equipment
Operate pallet jack and forklift
Mechanical aptitude to undertake general mechanical maintenance of equipment
Use computer and related software such as email, spreadsheets and word processor
Thrive when working against firm deadlines
Effective time management skills and ability to plan ahead
