We are a fast paced growing company surrounded by daily challenges. Must be able to work effectively with constant interruptions and work independently.

This position is to provide administrative, clerical and light bookkeeping support to ensure the efficient operation of the department. There are a number of deadlines associated with this position. The candidate must also be able to handle a wide variety of people with various concerns.

-Provide general administrative, clerical and bookkeeping support (This is a must)

-Monitor and maintain office equipment

-Ability to answer multi lined telephones in a professional cheerful manner(This is

a must)

-Attend to incoming visitors

-Organize and schedule appointments

-Effective verbal and listening communication skills

-Maintain and distribute all incoming and outgoing faxed documents

-Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail

-Set up and maintain filing systems

-Photocopy, scan, fax and send emails

-Prepare and send outgoing mailings and packages

-Occasional typing documents and correspondence

-Checking and entering data

-Basic accounting functions such as checking invoices and data entry

-Monitor and order inventory of office supplies

-Keep office area neat and tidy

Education and Experience

-Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications - Excel

spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, database management and email at a highly proficient level

-Utilize technology to effectively support management

-Proficient in use of email and internet

-Good numeracy and alphabetical skills

-Accurate keyboard skills

-Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

-Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

-Knowledge of basic accounting procedures

-High school diploma or equivalent
