JOB DESCRIPTION:
Worker will enter data with use of scan gun and computer.
This job position consists of computer input of TPR (Temporary Price Reduction) Signs, ads and unit pricing tags. Hang tags and signs on shelf where product is located. Price files verification of merchandise on shelves and printing of misc. reports. Input invoices for price verification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS:
Ability to successfully complete the file verification work.
Use a computer keyboard with 10 key for in-putting information.
Use a hand held unit for price verification of merchandise on shelves.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures.
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Basic math skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described below are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job:
Work in a standing position for up to 8 hours a day.
Use hands, arms, and fingers to handle tools or operate equipment
Use of one hand, arm can effectively hang tag and TPR sign
Lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 40 pounds on a limited basis
Carry up to 10 pounds on a regular basis for a distance of 50 feet and up to 50 pounds on a limited basis for a distance of 10 feet
Push up to 50 pounds for a distance of 50 feet.
Pull up to 50 pounds for a distance of 50 feet.
Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl to reach lower shelves
May be required to use ladders and/or stairs
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
An employee may encounter certain work environment characteristics while performing the essential functions of this position. They may include but are not limited to:
Wet or humid conditions
Slippery surfaces
Confined space
High noise level
