Sierra Pacific Industries has a great opportunity for an experienced and customer service oriented PC Technician to join our IT team in Anderson CA.
About The Position
Actively support company operations throughout Western States utilizing standard business computer and network knowledge.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems over the phone.
Build, diagnose and repair PCs, laptops and printers.
Address various and concurrent issues with timely resolutions.
Monitor file and device sharing and permissions.
Troubleshoot basic network and Wi-Fi issues.
Install and support Microsoft, IBM iSeries, Adobe and other business software and licensing.
Qualifications
2+ years computer and network experience commercial/large network environment a plus.
CCNA and/or A+ certifications or equivalent education is preferred.
Knowledge of Windows Desktop, Server operating systems and Active Directory.
Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office Professional 2010-2019 and Exchange.
Basic business network, wireless and VOIP skills expected.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
Knowledge of firewall rules, anti-virus software and other desktop security products.
Familiarity with remote connection to a business network: VPN, WI-FI, WANs & LANs
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
