In this Medical Assistant role, you will learn from healthcare experts as you work side by side to provide care for patients in a clinic setting. Perform patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing personnel, including procedures, injections, EKGs

Record patient care documentation in the medical record

Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies

Organize exam and treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

Other responsibilities as assigned

High school diploma or GED

Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program

Microsoft Office and typing proficiency

Preferred Qualifications :

Working knowledge of health insurance: HMO, PPO, Medicare and Medicaid

Current BLS Card OR willingness to obtain it in 30 days

Certified medical assistant

1+ years medical assistant work experience

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Experience in primary care or internal medicine
