Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Manager 2 tolead the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Training team within GSC Process Management.This position can either be located in Redondo Beach, CA; San Diego, CA or Melbourne, FL. The successful candidate will define the training strategy and develop contentforGlobal Supply Chain personnel atall levels and other functions(e.g. Program Management, Engineering) with responsibilities interfacing withSupply Chain Management processes. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for defining supplier facing training and developing those materials in collaboration with GSC Leadership. The candidate will be the primary AS member of the Enterprise Organizational Development Community of Practice (OD CoP) and responsible for defining which training content should be developed and deployed at the Enterprise, sector or functional level. The Manager will be responsible for the designof web-based, virtual and instructor-led trainings. Responsibilities include developing and executing a GSC training strategy, course development,testing and delivery of visual aids, conducting training classes,and development ofcriteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Successful candidate must remain up to date in training and development research, including learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for positions of increasingresponsibility and increasing personnel effectiveness in present assignments.Candidate must have experience as a thought leader in GSC Functions, with knowledge and understanding of the Subcontracts or Procurement role. Position requires coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders to include, but not limited to, Contracts, Engineering, Quality, Strategic Sourcing, Planning, Operations and Program Management. Prior hands on management ofsuppliers / subcontracts for both US Government and non-US Government programs.Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management; 3 years with a Master's degree

Prior experience leading a team/project/process

In-depth understanding of GSC Functions, interfaces and compliance requirements

Operational knowledge of US Government and non-US Government / Commercial contracting (FAR, DFARS, SAE Standards (e.g. AS9100D) and other aerospace standards)

Experience developing and delivering compliance relatedtraining

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD secretclearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Master degreeinBusiness Administration/Management,Supply Chain Management, Organization Effectiveness, Training or a related field with8+ plus years of training delivery experience

Experience delivering in-person, recordedand webinar format trainings to audiences >100 people
